Calvan Fowler is the creative force behind Daydream Filmworks. Inspired by his daydreams and the classic cinema of his childhood, his artistic vision comes to life with unique visual sensibility and creative imagery. Calvan started his career in film at Spike Lee’s 40 Acres & a Mule Filmworks. He later worked on numerous movies, music videos & commercials in various capacities, most notably, Michael Jackson’s “They Don’t Care About Us” music video. An absolute dream come true. Since starting his own company 7 years ago, Calvan has written, shot, produced and edited various music videos for well known artists, as well as numerous fashion spots and short films/industrials, with a distinct signature look and style. Calvan is based in Brooklyn, New York.
